A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AMENDING EXHIBIT "A",
SCHEDULE II, PAGE 10 OF RESOLUTION NO.
5780, WHICH FIXED THE COMPENSATION FOR
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND
AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5780 was adopted by the city
7 Council of the City of Vernon on June 26, 1990, to be effective
8 on July 1, 1990; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
10 to establish the position of Generation Operator in the Light
11 and Power Department with the appropriate salary scale.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
13 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
15 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
16 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: That page 10 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II,
18 of Resolution No. 5780, is hereby amended to establish the
19 position of Generation Operator in the Light and Power
20 Department with the appropriate salary scales as indicated on
21 the amended page 10 of Exhibit "A", Schedule II, which is
22 attached hereto as Attachment "A" and made a part hereof.

SECTION 3:
That in all other respects Resolution No.
24 5780 shall remain in full force and effect and the provisions in
25 Resolution No. 5780 not consistent with or in conflict with this
26 Resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the city of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
