A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON COMMENDING GEORGE QUINCY GOINS FOR
HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
VERNON
WHEREAS, GEORGE QUINCY GOINS has been employed by the
6 City of Vernon since February 1, 1965; and
7
WHEREAS, said GEORGE QUINCY GOINS retired from the
8 service of the City of Vernon on July 15, 1990; and
9 WHEREAS, GEORGE QUINCY GOINS was an Engineer in the Fire
10 Department and has faithfully served the City of Vernon for
11 approximately 25 years, and his loss is deeply felt by the City
12 of Vernon.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
14 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
16 takes this opportuni ty to commend GEORGE QUINCY GOINS for his
17 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
18
SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
19 wishes GEORGE QUINCY GOINS continued success in whatever
20 endeavors he may undertake.
21
SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
22
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to GEORGE QUINCY GOINS and that thereupon
23
24
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
