A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN OFF-PEAK FIRM
TRANSMISSION SERVICE AGREEMENT BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND THE CITY OF
PASADENA

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon intends to enter"l1.nto an

to purchase approximately 17 mW of capacity ~rid associated

negotiations to enter into an Off-Peak Fi~fu Transmission Service
Agreement with the City of Pasadena to"it>rovide for off-peak firm

transmission service over the STSINTS Transmission Facilities
from January 1, 1991 through Q~!~ember 31, 1992, in order to
transport the capacity and a$sociated energy Vernon intends to

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

approves the Off-Peak Firm Transmission Service
Agr~ment, a copy of which has been presented to the City

~uncil concurrently with this resolution and the City Council

hereby orders said Agreement to be received and filed by the

City Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon

hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said

Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
