Somoano, Power Resource planner SUBJ: status of agreements Per our discussion, this is to confirm that the Department has stopped negotiating with PSI, Inc. and Mock Resources. There were a few sections in the PSI agreement that could not be agreed upon. It was believed that these sections could have been worked out, but PSI did not follow through. The agreement with Mock Resources was stalled by Mock's failure to submit historical data on the proposed pricing index. At this time there is very Ii tt Ie benefit, i f any, to proceed with finalizing any arrangements. The Department plans to continue procuring agreements next spring when natural gas use will increase from the expected curtailments during the fall and winter. The proposed agreement with Southern California Gas Co. will be postponed and rev isi ted at such time a gas purchase agreement is entered into. I have attached a draft copy of the above agreements.
