Resolution No. 5853 28 1 RESOLUTION NO. 5853 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AMENDING APPENDIX NO. 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 4733, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NOS. 5255, 5478, AND 5505, WHICH ADOPTED A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE THAT INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE THE STANDARD MODEL CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF THE FAIR POLITICAL PRACTICES COMMISSION 4 5 6 7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted 8 Resolution No. 4733 on June 17, 1980, which provided for a 9 Conflict of Interest Code that incorporated by reference the lO II standard model Conflict of Interest Code of the Fair Political Practices Commission; and 12 l3 l4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted Resolution No. 5255 on March 18, 1986, Resolution No. 5478 on March 15, 1988, and Resolution No. 5505 on April 26, 1988, which l5 l6 amended Resolution No. 4733 including Appendix No. 1 thereof; and l7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes l8 to amend its Conflict of Interest Code to add certain positions 19 as designated employees required to report financial interests 20 under designated disclosure categories. 2l NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 22 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: 23 24 SECTION 1: Appendix No. 1 of Resolution No. 4733, as amended by Resolutions Nos. 5255, 5478, and 5505 shall be 25 amended as set forth in the Appendix No. 1 which is attached 26 27 hereto and made a part hereof as though fully set forth at length. SECTION 2 : In all other respects, Resolutions Nos. 4733, 5255, 5478, and 5505 shall remain in full force and effect and the provisions in Resolutions Nos. 4733, 5255, 5478 and 5505 not consistent with or in conflict wit this resolution are hereby repealed. certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the city of Vernon shall thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
