A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND LEWIS R.
ADAMS

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5719 was approved by the City
Council of the city of Vernon on February 20, 1990, approving
and authorizing the execution of an Agreement for Contractual
Services dated February 20, 1990, by and between the City of

Vernon and Lewis R. Adams; and

WHEREAS, the city of Vernon and Lewis R. Adams desire
to amend said Agreement to extend the term of the Agreement from
11

January 1, 1991 to June 30, 1991.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
17
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The city Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for contractual
Services, a copy of which has been presented to the City council
concurrently with this resolution and the city Council hereby
orders said Amendment to be received and filed by the city

Clerk.

SECTION 3: The city Council of the city of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The city Clerk of the city of Vernon shall
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
