RESOLUTION NO. 5879
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND STANLEY C.
HENSLEE
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5798 was approved by the city
of the City of Vernon on July 17, 1990, approving and
authoriz ing the execution of an Agreement for Contractual

Services dated July 17, 1990, by and between the City of Vernon
9
and Stanley C. Henslee; and

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and Stanley C. Henslee
desire to amend said Agreement to extend the term of the
12
Agreement to June 30, 1991.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
19
hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Contractual
Services, a copy of which has been presented to the City Council
concurrently with this resolution and the City Council hereby
orders said Amendment to be received and filed by the City

Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby authorizes the Mayor and the city Clerk to execute said
25

Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE
AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES
BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF VERNON AND STANLEY C. HENSLEE
The city of Vernon ("City") and Stanley C. Henslee
( "Contractor") hereby amend the Agreement for Contractual
Services dated July 17, 1990, to revise section 3 to read as
follows:
3 . TERM
The term of this agreement shall be from July 17, 1990
12 through and including June 30, 1991. The term of this agreement
13 may be extended only by written amendment to this agreement duly
14 executed by both parties.
15 In all other respects the terms and conditions of the
16 Agreement For Contractual Services remain unchanged and are
17 renewed in its entirety.
18 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereby have caused this
19 Amendmenttoibe executed as of this L~l'1' day of February, 1991,
20 in the City of Vernon, California.
