A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING A "LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT"
REQUESTED BY THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION
COMPANY AND DELMO C. AND DIANE S. MOLINARI,
HUSBAND AND WIFE
WHEREAS, The Southern Pacific Transportation
Company and Delmo C. and Diane S. Molinari are the owners of
adjacent parcels of land described and shown on the attached
Exhibit "A" consisting of three (3) pages which is incor-
porated herein by this reference as though fully set forth at
length; and
WHEREAS, The Southern Pacific Transportation Company
and Delmo C. and Diane S. Molinari desire to adjust the common
boundary between four parcels whereby said adjustment will
create four new properties as described and shown on the at-
tached Exhibit "B" consisting of six (6) pages which is in-
corporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth
at length; and
WHEREAS, The Southern Pacific Transportation and
Delmo C. and Diane S. Molinari have applied for a "Lot Line
Adjustment" pursuant to Section 66412(d) of the Subdivision
Map Act; and
WHEREAS, Section 66412(d) of said Act provides an
exemption from the Subdivision Map Act requirements as
follows:
"(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
existing adjacent parcels, where the land
taken from one parcel is added to an adjacent
parcel, and where a greater number of parcels

than originally existed is not thereby
created, provided the lot line adjustment is
approved by the local agency, or advisory
agency...."
and
WHEREAS, said "Lot Line Adjustment" was referred to
Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services, who has
recommended that said "Lot Line Adjustment" be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2: That the request for a "Lot Line Adjust-
ment" dated February 5, 1991, to adjust the common boundary
from the four existing properties being described in the
attached Exhibit "A" whereby said adjustment will create four
new properties as described in the attached Exhibit "B" is
hereby approved in accordance with the recommendation of
Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community Services.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

Honorable Members:
The Southern Pacific Transportation Company and Delmo and Diane
Molinaliare the owners of four adjoining parcels of land located on
the north side of 51st Street between Alameda Street and Santa Fe
Avenue. They have requested an adjustment of the boundary line
between the parcels, which will result in the three Molinari properties
being extended to encompass the Southern Pacific Transportation Company
property to the north of their present property lines.
This request has been reviewed by the Director of Community Services
and the City Attorney and is in accordance with the California
Subdivision Map Act and the General Plan of the City, and it is
hereby recommended that the Lot Line Adjustment be granted.

The Southern Pacific Transportation Company and De1mo
and Diane M01inari, husband and wife, are the owners of four
