A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING RESOLUTION RA-29
WHICH APPROVES AN AMENDMENT TO APPENDIX
NO. 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. RA-5 FOR THE
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. RA-5, adopted September 5,

1989, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon approved a
Conflict of Interest Code and submitted said Code to the City
8
Council of the City of Vernon pursuant to section 87300, et
9
seq., of the California Government Code; and

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5668, adopted September 5,
1989, the City Council found that the Conflict of Interest Code
submitted by the Agency met the criteria of California
Government Code section 87302 and approved said Code for the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Vernon; and

WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has submitted
Resolution RA-29 which approves an amendment to Appendix No. 1
of Resolution No. RA-5 to add certain positions as designated

employees required to report financial interests under
designated disclosure categories and submits said amendment to
the City Council of the City of Vernon for its approval.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon

hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
25
26
hereinabove are true and correct.
SECTION 2:
The Amendment to Appendix No. 1 of

Resolution No. RA-5 for the Conflict of Interest Code of the

Redevelopment Agency submitted by the Agency and provided for in
Resolution RA-29 is hereby approved.
SECTION 3:
Said Conflict of Interest Code is deemed
amended by the Agency pursuant to Sections 87303 and 87306 of
the California Government Code.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1991.
