RESOLUTION NO. 5936
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON, APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR STATE-LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP. PROGRAM FUNDS
WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Sections 2600 to
2602 established a state-funded State-Local Transportation
6 Partnership Program. effect i ve January 1, 1990, wi th a dead-
7 line of June 30, 1991, to file applications; and
8 WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services has pre-
9 pared applications for the resurfacing of 25th Street. 44th
10 street and 57th street and portions of 27th Street, Ross
11 Street, 46th Street and 52nd Street in the City of Vernon; and
12 WHEREAS, the California Department of Transportation
13 requires that the City Council adopt a resolution approving
14 the applications.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
16 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
17 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
18 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained here-
19 inabove are true and correct.
20 SECTION 2: The above-listed applications for
21 State-Local Transportation Partnership Program Funds, which
22 are on file in the Department of Community Services, are in
23 conformance with the City's capital improvement program.
24 SECTION 3: Said applications submitted by the
25 Director of Community Services for State-Local Transportation
26 Partnership Program Funds are approved.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June 1991.
