Resolution No. 6026 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 .. 1 RESOLUTION NO. 6026 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. 001 TO STATE-LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM AGREEMENT NO. SLTPP- 5139 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ACTING BY AND THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION 4 5 6 7 8 WHEREAS, the State of California and the City of Vernon entered into a State-Local Entity Master Agreement No. SLTPP- 5139 for State matching funds on November 19, 1991; and WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to enter into 9 Program Supplement No. 001 to said Master Agreement to cover State matching funds in the City of Vernon for street reconstruction on Washington Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the estimated total cost of the improvement is $187,982, with the City's share being $147,053 and the state share $40,929. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are true and correct. SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby approves Program Supplement No. 001 to State-Local Entity Master Agreement No. SLTPP-5139, a copy of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently with this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said Program Supplement to be received and tiled by the City Clerk. 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 1 SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby authorizes the Mayor and the city Clerk to execute said Program Supplement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon. 2 3 4 SECTION 4: the City Administrator/City Clerk is hereby 5 instructed to return two executed copies of the Program 6 Supplement No. 001 together with a certified copy of this resolution to W. B. Ballantine, Chief, Local Streets and Roads Branch, Department of Transportation, District 7, 120 S. Spring 7 8 9 st., Los Angeles, CA 90012. SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and'effect.
