A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
5942, WHICH APPROVED A BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1991-1992, TO REFLECT
INCREASES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5942 was adopted by the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon on June 20, 1991; and
8 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5942 approved a budget for the
9 fiscal year 1991-1992; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Vernon wishes
11 to amend the budget for fiscal year 1991-1992 to reflect certain
12 increased requirements for the fiscal year for several different
13 departments of the City of Vernon.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
17 hereby approves the seven increases to the budget totaling
18 $176,602 as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
19 part hereof as though fully set forth at length to reflect
20 certain increased requirements for the fiscal year 1991-1992
21 for supplies/services for the police department and for capital
22 equipment for several different departments of the City of
23 Vernon.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the city of Vernon
25 hereby finds and determines that the three certain items set
26 forth in Exhibit "A" are necessary increases in expenditures for
27 supplieslservices and for capital equipment, and the City
28 Council of the City of Vernon further finds and determines that

the same are in the best interests of the city of Vernon and
2
constitute a reasonable expenditure of public funds.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
SECTION 3:

hereby directed to file this resolution with the County Auditor
5
of Los Angeles County within sixty (60) days after its passage,
6
to fulfill the purposes of sections 53900 and 53901 of the
7
Government Code of the state of California with respect to these
8
amendments.

SECTION 4:
The city Clerk of the City of Vernon is
directed to certify to the passage of this resolution, and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
