A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR
CONTRACTUAL SERVI CES BETWEEN THE CITY OF
VERNON AND STANLEY C. HENSLEE

WHEREAS, the city has a need for the services of
9 Stanley C. Henslee in a consulting capacity to perform certain
10 auditing services in relation to business license records; and
11
WHEREAS, stanley C. Henslee previously performed such
12 consulting services for the City; and
13 WHEREAS, Stanley C. Henslee has agreed to provide said
14 consulting services in accordance with the scope of work to be
15 provided by the City.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
17 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the city of Vernon
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
20 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
22 hereby approves the Agreement for Contractual Services, a copy
23 of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently
24 with this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said
25 Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.

SECTION 3:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
27 hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
28 Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of February, 1992.
