A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ESTABLISHING HEALTH AND PERMIT FEES
APPLICABLE TO ALL PERMITS GRANTED BY THE CITY
OF VERNON PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 11. 25, 13.7,
13.31 AND 25.12 OF THE VERNON CITY CODE AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 5896

7 WHEREAS, the Vernon City Code and, in particular, section
8 11.25, 13.7, 13.31 and 25.12 thereof, provide for the issuance of
9 health permits; and
10
WHEREAS, sections 11.25, 13.8, 13.34, and 25.12.4 of the
11 Vernon City Code provide that the City Council of the City of
12 Vernon shall establish, by resolution, health permit inspection
13 fees for the various types of businesses and vehicles requiring
14 heal th permits; and
15
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
16 Resolution No. 5896 on March 19, 1991, establishing health permit
17 fees in accordance with said Code; and
18
WHEREAS, said fees established by resolution are hereby
19 determined to be inadequate; and
20
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
21 to establish new fees as set forth herein.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
23 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
26 true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
28 establishes the following issuance fees and annual renewal fees for

permits granted by the City of Vernon pursuant to section 13.8 of

the Vernon City Code:

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
15 establishes the following issuance fees and annual renewal fees for
16 health permit inspections granted by the City of Vernon pursuant to
17 Section 11.25 of the Vernon City Code:

SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby

SECTION 5: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
establishes the following application fees, fee for filing an
appeal, and fee to amend a well permit granted by the City of
Vernon pursuant to Section 25.12.4 of the Vernon City Code:

SECTION 6: All delinquent fees shal1 be subject to the
17 penalty set forth in Vernon City Code section 13.15.

SECTION 7: In addition to the foregoing, the licensee or
19 permittee shall pay all other necessary fees or deposits which may
20 be required by other ordinances or resolutions of the ci ty of
21 Vernon or applicable State law.

SECTION 8: The fees provided for herein shal1 be
23 effective April 1, 1992, and all provisions of Resolution No. 5896
24 and all other resolutions in conflict herewith are repealed.

SECTION 9: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and

thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
