RESOLUTION NO. 6093
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND EDWARD A.
COONEY, DBA EAC ASSOCIATES, PROVIDING FOR
MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
previous resolutions which have approved and authorized the
10 execution of an agreement for contractual services with Edward A.
11 Cooney, dba EAC Associates (EAC); and
12
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon last entered into an Agreement
13 .for Contractual Services with Edward A. Cooney, dba EAC, on July 1,
14 1991, for a period of one year commencing July 1, 1991 and
15 terminating on June 30, 1992; and
16
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to enter into a
17 contractual service agreement with EAC to provide the requisite
18 municipal management services from July 1, 1992 to June 30, 1993.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
20 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
23 true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25 approves the Agreement for Contractual Services, a copy of which has
26 been presented to the City Council concurrently with this
27 resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said Agreement to be
28 received and filed by the City Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said Agreement

for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
6
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 1992.
