A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON REAPPOINTING WILLIAM M. MCCORMICK TO SERVE
AS A TRUSTEE ON THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 18910 of the Education Code
6 and section 2.34 of the Vernon city Code, Trustees serving on the
7 Board of Library Trustees shall be appointed by the Mayor by and
8 with the consent of the City council; and
9
WHEREAS, the term of William M. McCormick serving on the
10 Board of Library Trustees expires on June 30, 1992; and
II
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the city Council of the City of
12 Vernon intend to reappoint william M. McCormick for a term of three
13 ( 3 ) years.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
15 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
17 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
18 true and correct.

SECTION 2: Leonis C, Malburg, Mayor of the city of Vernon,
20 hereby reappoints William M, McCormick to serve as a Trustee
21 effective July 1, 1992 through June 30, 1995, a full three (3) year
22 term,
23
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
24 approves and consents to Mayor Leonis C, Malburg's reappointment of
25 William M. Mccormick to serve as a Trustee on the Board of Library
26 Trustees for a term of three (3) years as hereinabove recited.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 1992.
