RESOLUTION NO. 6107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON, APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR STATE-LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS
5 WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Sections 2600
6 to 2602 established a state-funded State-Local
7 Transportation Partnership Program (hereinafter "SLTPP")
8 effective January 1, 1990, with a deadline of June 30, 1992,
9 to file applications for cycle 4 of SLTPP; and
10 WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services has
11 prepared applications for the resurfacing of portions of
12 Fruitland Avenue, Malabar Street, Soto Street, Boyle Avenue
13 Alcoa Avenue and 26th Street in the City of Vernon; and
14 WHEREAS, the California Department of
15 Transportation requires that, to participate in SLTPP, the
16 City Council adopt a resolution approving the applications.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
18 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
19 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
20 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
21 hereinabove are true and correct.
22 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
23 further finds and determines that the above-listed
24 applications for State-Local Transportation Partnership
25 Program Funds, which are on file in the Department of
26 Community Services, are in conformance with the City's
27 capital improvement program.

SECTION 3: The City council of the City of Vernon
2 hereby approves the submission of such applications by the
3 Director of community Services for State-Local
4 Transportation Partnership Program Funds.
5 SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
6 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
7 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
8 effect.
