A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AMENDING SECTION 6.3.4 OF
RESOLUTION NO. 5645 RESPECTING VACATION
POLICIES FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AND REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN
CONFLICT THEREWITH

WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Vernon adopted
8 Resolution No. 5645 on October 17, 1989, which established the
9 vacation policies, holidays and "in lieu" holidays for employees
10 of the City of Vernon; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
12 to amend Section 6.3.4 of Resolution No. 5645 in accordance with
13 the recommendation of the Finance Committee on June 18, 1992.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
15 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
l7 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
l8 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
20 hereby amends Section 6.3.4 of Resolution No. 5645 to read as
2l follows:
22 "6.3.4. No more than two (2) officers and
23
24
no more than six {6} employees in any
platoon shall be scheduled off duty at any
25
26
one time."
SECTION 3:
In all other particulars, Resolution No.
27 5645 shall remain in full force and effect, and any resolution
28 not consistent with or in conflict with this resolution is
1 hereby repealed.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
3 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
4 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
5 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of June, 1992.
