RESOLUTION NO. 6144
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON COMMENDING JAMES C. RAABE
FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF VERNON
WHEREAS, JAMES C. RAABE has been employed by the City
of vernon since February 1, 1965; and
WHEREAS, said JAMES C. RAABE will retire from the
service of the City of Vernon on August 8, 1992; and
WHEREAS, JAMES C. RAABE is a Captain in the Vernon Fire
Department and has served as such since March 18, 1986, and has
faithfully served the City of Vernon for approximately 27 years,
and his loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
takes this opportunity to commend JAMES C. RAABE forhis.years
of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
wishes JAMES C. RAABE continued success in whatever endeavors he
may undertake.
SECTION 3: That the City council of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and present a
certified copy thereof to JAMES C. RAABE and that thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
