RESOLUTION NO. 6156
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF ENCROACHMENT LICENSE AGREEMENT
NO. 373 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON
AND L.A. DYE AND PRINTWORKS, INC.
WHEREAS, L.A. Dye and Printworks, Inc. has filed an
application for an encroachment license agreement pursuant to
7 Vernon City Code Section 22.66 for 1715 feet of 10" cast iron
8 waste water pipeline, 56 feet of 6" ductile iron wastewater
9 pipeline and other appurtenances in 52nd Street; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to issue an
11 encroachment license pursuant to Chapter 22, Article VI,
12 Encroachments, of the Code of the City of Vernon which license
13 shall be valid for a period of twenty-five (25) years unless
14 otherwise stated; and
15 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5088
16 on February 21, 1984, authorizing fees for encroachment licenses;
17 and
18
WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services has
19 recommended approval of Encroachment License Agreement No. 373.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
21 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
22 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
23 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
24 hereinabove are true and correct.
25 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
26 hereby approves the Encroachment License Agreement No. 373, a
27 copy of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently
28 with this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said
1 Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
2 SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
3 hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
4 Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SEGT~ON 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
6 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
7 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
