A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6121, WHICH
APPROVED A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1992-1993,
TO REFLECT INCREASES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6121 was adopted by the City
6
Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1992; and
7
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6121 approved a budget for the
8
fiscal year 1992-1993; and
9
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6121 was amended by Resolution No.
10

6204 (adopted January 26, 1993) to reflect increased requirements
for the 1992-1993 fiscal year for certain expenditures; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Vernon wishes to
13
further amend the budget for fiscal year 1992-1993 to reflect
14
certain increased requirements for the fiscal year for the community
15
16
Services Department of the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
17
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon hereby
19
approves increasing the Capital Equipment for Replacement Fund for
the Community Services Street Operations from $602,440 to $624,790,
20

as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
22
as though fully set forth at length to reflect the certain increased
requirement for the fiscal year 1992-1993 Capital Equipment for
23
24
street operations for, purchase of two Ford Taurus automobiles.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
finds and determines that the certain item set forth in Exhibit "A"
27
is a necessary increase in expenditure for Capital Equipment for
28
equipment replacement for Community Service Street Operations, and

the City Council of the City of Vernon further finds and determines
2
that the same is in the best interests of the City of Vernon and
3
constitutes a reasonable expenditure of public funds.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
5
directed to file this resolution with the County Auditor of Los
6
Angeles County within sixty (60) days after its passage, to fulfill
the purposes of SS53900 and 53901 of the Government Code of the
7
8
state of California with respect to this amendment.
9
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon

and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 1993.
