RESOLUTION NO. 6239
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF ENCROACHMENT LICENSE AGREEMENT
NO. 376 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON
AND KBB INVESTMENTS
WHEREAS, KBB Investments has filed an application for
Section 22.66 for a four inch (4") cast iron sewer pipe beginning
8 approximately 1005.8 feet east of the center line of Ayers Avenue
9 and extending a distance of 402 feet easterly thereon in the
10 street right-or-way of 26th street; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to issue an
12 encroachment license pursuant to Chapter 22, Article VI,
13 Encroachments, of the Code of the City of Vernon which license
14 shall be valid for a period of twenty-five (25) years unless
15 otherwise stated; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5088
17 on February 21, 1984, authorizing fees for encroachment licenses;
18 and
19 WHEREAS, the Director of Community Services has
20 recommended approval of Encroachment License Agreement No. 376
21 for KBB Investments.
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
23 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
24 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
25 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
26 hereinabove are true and correct.
27 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
28 hereby approves the Encroachment License Agreement No. 376, a

1 copy of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently
2 with this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said
3 Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
4 SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
5 hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
6 Agreement for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
7 SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
8 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
9 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
