RESOLUTION NO. 6254
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON APPROVING CONTRACT NO. 518 AND
AUTHORIZING NOTICE INVITING SEALED PROPOSALS
OR BIDS FOR RESURFACING OF VARIOUS STREETS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 518 OF THE
CITY OF VERNON.
Council of the City of Vernon Contract No. 518 for
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City

in accordance with Contract No. 518 and in accordance with
this resolution.

1 SECTION 5: There being no newspaper of general
2 circulation printed, published or circulated in the City of
3 Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby directed to post said
4 notice, or cause the same to be posted, in three of the most
5 public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
6 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue, the northeast
7 corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard, and on the
8 bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the City of
9 Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in said City.
10 SECTION 6: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
11 is hereby directed to post said notice forthwith and the
12 first posting of said notice shall be not less than ten (10)
13 days before the opening of the bids for the proposed

contract. Said notice shall provide that sealed proposals
or bids will be received by the City of Vernon at the office
of the City Clerk of the City, at the City Hall, 4305 Santa
Fe Avenue, Vernon, CA 90058-0805, until the hour of 2:00
p.m. on the 3rd day of June 1993.
SECTION 7: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1993.
