RESOLUTION NO. 6298
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF ARROW STRAIGHT
MARKING AND STRIPING SERVICE IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CONTRACT NO. 511 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, Arrow Straight Marking and Striping
Service was awarded Contract No. 511 for work on Traffic
Pavement Striping 1992, pursuant to Resolution No. 6042 of
the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community
Services has reported to the City Council of the City of
Vernon on July 26, 1993, that said work has been completed
and recommends that the work be accepted.
13 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
14 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
15 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
16 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
17 hereinabove are true and correct.
18 SECTION 2: The work of Arrow Straight Marking and
19 Striping Service, pursuant to Contract No. 511 is hereby
20 approved by the City of Vernon.
21 SECTION 3: The total contract amount is Twenty-
22 seven Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-six Dollars and Ninety
23 Cents ($27,956.90), all of which has been paid.
24 SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon
25 hereby instructs the City Clerk to file a notice of
26 completion with the County Recorder.
27 SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
28 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and

1 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be full force and
2 effect.
