A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR
CONTRACTUAL SERVICES BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF
VERNON AND STANLEY C. HENSLEE

7 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6043 was approved by the City
8 Council of the City of Vernon on February 4, 1992, approving and
9 authorizing the execution of an Agreement for Contractual Services
10 dated February 13, 1992 by and between the City of Vernon and
II Stanley C. Henslee; and
l2 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and Stanley C. Henslee desire
13 to amend said Agreement to extend the term of the Agreement to
14 June 30, 1994.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
16 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon

does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
19
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
21 approves the Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Contractual
22 Services, a copy of which has been presented to the City Council
23 concurrently with this resolution, and the city Council hereby
24 orders said Agreement to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
25
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
26 authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said Agreement for,
27 and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the city of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
2
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of September, 1993.

The City of Vernon ("City") and Stanley C. Henslee

("Contractor") hereby amend the Agreement for Contractual Services

dated February 13, 1992, to revise Section 3 to read as follows:
3. TERM

The term of this agreement 7hall be from July 1, 1993
13
through and including June 30, 1994.
The term of this agreement
14
may be extended only by written amendment to this agreement duly
15
16
executed by both parties.
In all other respects the terms and conditions of the
17
Agreement For Contractual Services remain unchanged and are

renewed in its entirety.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereby have caused this
Amendment to be executed as of this 02/~fday of September, 1993,
