RESOLUTION NO. 6339
A RESOLUTION OF THE
OF VERNON ACCEPTING
INC., IN ACCORDANCE
CITY OF VERNON
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
THE WORK OF MATRIX SERVICE,
WITH CONTRACT NO. 515 OF THE
WHEREAS, Matrix Service, Inc. was awarded Contract
pursuant to Resolution No. 6201 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Victor H. Vaits, Director of Community
Services has reported to the City Council of the City of
Vernon on October 21 1993, that said work has been completed
and recommends that the work be accepted and payment be made
to the Contractor in accordance with the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
14 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
15 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
16 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
17 hereinabove are true and correct.
18 SECTION 2: The work of Matrix Service, Inc.,
19 pursuant to Contract No. 515 is hereby approved by the City
20 of Vernon.
21 SECTION 3: The total contract amount is Two
22 Hundred One Thousand Three Hundred Two Dollars
23 ($201,302.00). There is now due to the Contractor a final
24 partial payment totaling Sixty-two Thousand Nine Hundred
25 Fifty-four Dollars and Fifty-five Cents $(62,954.55), which
26 is payable at this time, and the remaining ten percent (10%)
27 of the total contract amount, or the sum of Twenty Thousand
28 One Hundred Thirty Dollars and Twenty Cents $(20,130.20) is

1 payable thirty-five days after the adoption of this
2 resolution.
3 SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon
4 hereby directs payment of said sums as set forth to Matrix
5 Service, Inc. and instructs the City Clerk to file a notice
6 of completion with the County Recorder.
7 SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
8 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
9 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
10 effect.
