Resolution No. 6354
WHEREAS, the city council by Resolution No. 6222 on
1993, established health and permit fees pursuant to
9 Vernon City Code Sections 11.25, 13.7, 13.31 and 25.12; and
10 WHEREAS, section 13.8 of the Vernon City Code provides
II that the City Council of the City of Vernon shall establish, by

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6222 TO
ESTABLISH HEALTH AND PERMIT FEES APPLICABLE TO
WIPING RAG BUSINESS HEALTH PERMITS GRANTED BY
THE CITY OF VERNON PURSUANT TO SECTION 13.7 OF
THE VERNON CITY CODE
12 resolution, health permit inspection fees for the various types of
13 businesses and vehicles requiring health permits pursuant to
14 Section 13.7 of the Vernon City Code; and
15 WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Vernon adopted
16 Ordinance No. 1017 on November 23, 1993, adding "wiping rag
17 businesses" to said section 13.7; and
18 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon intends
19 to establish fees for wiping rag businesses as set forth herein.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
21 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon
23 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
24 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
26 hereby amends section 2 of Resolution No. 6222 to establish the
27 following issuance fees and annual renewal fees for permits
28 granted by the City of Vernon pursuant to section 13.8 of the

Vernon City Code:

SECTION 3: The fees provided for herein shall be

effective January 1, 1994, and all other provisions of Resolution

No. 6222 shall apply thereto.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
9
certify the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
10
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
