A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5950 TO PROVIDE
FOR THE SELECTION OF AWARDS FROM A DIFFERENT SET
OF BROCHURES, IN THE PERFECT ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE
PROGRAM ESTABLISHED BY THAT RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the City Council previously, on July 2, 1992,
passed Resolution No. 5950 to create a perfect attendance program
7
wherein each employee with perfect attendance for a minimum of two
8
years would be authorized to select one award from the current
9
Robbins Company brochures C-2 through C-15 (corresponding to that
10
11
employee's years of perfect attendance); and
WHEREAS, through the creation of this program, the City
12
13
14
Council recognizes the value to the City of Vernon of employees who
strive to be on the jOb ever~ day; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now wishes to permit employees
15
with perfect attendance to select their awards from a different set
16
17
of Robbins Company brochures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
18
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
20

finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
true and correct.
SECTION 2: Resolution No. 5950 is amended to replace all
23
references to "brochures C-2 through C-15" with the following term:
24
"brochures H-5 through H-18."
In all other respects, the perfect
25
26
attendance program remains as established by Resolution No. 5950.
SECTION 3:
The current Robbins Company incentive award
27

brochures H-5 through H-18 have been submitted to the City Council
concurrently herewith,
approved
for
awards
and are hereby

corresponding to the same number of years of perfect attendance for
2
each employee plus three.

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
5
6
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of December, 1993.
