A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SECTION 23, SUBSECTION (e) (4) ON
PAGE 35 OF RESOLUTION NO. 6277, WHICH FIXED THE
COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY
AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6277 was adopted by the City

Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1993, to be effective on
9
July 1, 1993; and
10

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
to amend Section 23, Subsection (e) (4) on page 35 of Resolution
12
No. 6277 to change the direct payment amount to the ICMA
13
14
Retirement Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: Effective January 1, 1994, section 23,
20

subsection (e) (4) on page 35 of Resolution No. 6277 is amended to
read as follows:

(4) I CMA Retirement.

The City shall make a direct payment of $7,500.00 on
25
26
January 1 of 1994 and a direct payment of $7,500.00 on January 1
of 1995 to the ICMA Retirement corporation as deferred
27
compensation, all of said amounts shall be credited to his
individual account.

SECTION 3: In all other respects, Resolution Nos. 6277,
2 6337 and 6346 shall remain in full force and effect, and the
3 provisions in Resolution Nos. 6277, 6337 and 6346 not consistent
4 with or in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
