A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING VERNON SEM FOR HIS MANY YEARS
OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, VERNON SEM has been employed by the City of
Vernon since January 1, 1967; and
7
WHEREAS, VERNON SEM retired from the service of the City
8
of Vernon on February 16, 1994; and
9
WHEREAS, VERNON SEM was hired by the City of Vernon as a

Firefighter in the Vernon Fire Department on January 1, 1967; and
WHEREAS, VERNON SEM has faithfully served the City of

Vernon for approximately 27

NOW, THEREFORE, BE

CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes
this opportunity to commend VERNON SEM for his many years of

devoted serv~ce to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes

VERNON SEM continued success in whatever endeavors he may

undertake.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and present a certified
