RESOLUTION NO. 6441
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON, APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR STATE-LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS
4 WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code sections 2600
5 to 2602 established a state-funded State-Local
6 Transportation Partnership Program (hereinafter "SLTPP")
7 effective January 1, 1990, with a deadline of June 30, 1994,
8 to file applications for cycle 6 of SLTPP; and
9 WHEREAS, the Interim Director of community
10 Services has prepared applications for the resurfacing of
11 portions of 27th Street, 28th Street, 46th street, 49th
12 Street and Charter street, in the City of Vernon; and
13 WHEREAS, the California Department of
14 Transportation requires that, to participate in S~TPP, the
15 City Council adopt a resolution approving the applications.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
17 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
18 SECTION 1: The City council of the City of Vernon
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
20 hereinabove are true and correct.
21 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
22 further finds and determines that the above-listed
23 applications for State-Local Transportation PartnerShip
24 Program Funds, which are on file in the Department of
25 Community Services, are in conformance with the City'S
26 capital improvement program.
27 SECTION 3: The City council of the City of Vernon
28 hereby approves the submission of such applications by the

2 Transportation Partnership Program Funds.
SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the city of Vernon

4 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and

thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of June, 1994.
