RESOLUTION NO. 6474
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A LICENSE FOR ELECTRIC SUPPLY LINE ACROSS OR
ALONG RAILWAY PROPERTY (ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER
SUPPLY LINES, IRRESPECTIVE OF VOLTAGE, OVERHEAD
OR UNDERGROUND) BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF
VERNON AND THE LOS ANGELES JUNCTION RAILWAY
COMPANY
WHEREAS, in order to provide electric power to the
at 4520 Everett Avenue in the City of Vernon, it was
necessary to install an electric supply line from Exchange Avenue

across and above the Los Angeles Junction Railway approximately

ninety-three (93) feet east of the east line of Everett Avenue;

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles Junction Railway Company

approved such electric supply line subject to the grant of a

license therefor; and
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and Los Angeles Junction

Railway Company desire to enter into a "License for Electric

Supply Line Across or Along Railway Property (Electric Light and

Power Supply Lines, Irrespective of Voltage, Overhead or
20
Underground) ."

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon does
24
hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
25
are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the city of Vernon hereby
27
approves the "License for Electric Supply Line Across or Along
28

Railway Property (Electric Light and Power Supply Lines,

Irrespective of Voltage, Overhead or Underground)," a copy of
which has been presented to the City council concurrently with
this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said License

to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
SECTION 3: The city council of the city of Vernon hereby

authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said License for,
8
and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the city of Vernon shall
10 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
II thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
