A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
FOR THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, the Industrial Development Authority of the City
of Vernon has submitted a Conflict of Interest Code to the City
7

Council of the City of Vernon pursuant to sections 87300, et seq.,
9
of the California Government Code section; and

WHEREAS, California Government Code section 87303 requires
the City council to approve said Conflict of Interest Code; and
12
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Conflict of
13
Interest Code submitted by the Industrial Development Authority
14
meets the criteria of California Government Code section 87302.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City council of the city of Vernon hereby

finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
19
true and correct.

SECTION 2: The city Council of the city of Vernon,

approves the Conflict of Interest Code submitted by the Industrial

Development Authority, a copy of which has been presented to the
City Council concurrently with this resolution, and the City Council

hereby orders said Conflict of Interest Code to be received and

filed by the city Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 30th day of August, 1994.
