RESOLUTION NO. 6548
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF ARROW STRAIGHT
MARKING AND STRIPING SERVICE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 514 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, Arrow Straight Marking and Striping
Pavement Striping 1993 pursuant to Resolution No. 6178 of
the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Acting Director of
Community Services & Water has reported to the City Council

of the City of Vernon on November 9, 1994, that said work
12 has been completed and recommends that the work be accepted.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
14 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
17 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The work of Arrow Straight Marking and
19
Striping Service, pursuant to Contract No. 514 is hereby
20
21

approved by the City of Vernon.
SECTION 3: The total contract amount is Twenty-
nine Thousand Five Hundred Ninety Dollars Sixty-two Cents
23
($29,590.62), all of which has been paid.

SECTION 4:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves paYment of said sums to Arrow Straight
26
Marking and Striping Service, accepts the work as completed,
27

and instructs the City Clerk to file a notice of completion
with the County Recorder.

shall certify to the passage of this resolution and

SECTION 5:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be full force and
4 effect.
