RESOLUTION NO. 6575

A RESOLUTION OF THE crTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF AN AGREEMENT TO RESTRIPE ATLANTIC BOULEVARD
AND BANDINI BOULEVARD BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF VERNON AND THE CITY OF BELL

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon proposes to restripe portions
of Atlantic Boulevard and Bandini Boulevard within the city of Bell
6

(hereinafter "Project"); and
8
WHEREAS, the City of Vernon has prepared plans and
specifications and is willing to inspect and administer the Project
9
10 with the total cost to Bell for the striping portion of the Project
11 being estimated at TWO THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS AND NO CENTS
12 ($2,800.00); and
13
WHEREAS, the City of Bell has reviewed the plans and
14 specifications and will issue a no-fee permit to the City of Vernon
15 for the proj ect.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
17 CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
19 finds and determines that the recitals contained hereinabove are
20 true and correct.

SECTION 2: The city Council of the City of Vernon hereby
22 approves the Agreement to Restripe Atlantic Boulevard and Bandini
23 Boulevard, a copy of which has been presented to the City Council
24 concurrently with this resolution, and the City council hereby
25 orders said Agreement to be received and filed by the city Clerk.

SECTION 3: The city Council of the City of Vernon hereby
27 authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said Agreement
28 for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of January, 1995.
