A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING LOREN DOME FOR HIS MANY YEARS
OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, LOREN DOME has been employed by the City of
7
Vernon since June 1, 1964, and
8
WHEREAS, LOREN DOME will retire from the service of the
City of Vernon on February 17, 1995; and
WHEREAS, LOREN DOME was hired by the city of Vernon as a
9

Firefighter in the Vernon Fire Department on June 1, 1964, and was
promoted to Engineer on October 27, 1985; and
WHEREAS, LOREN DOME has faithfully served the City of
Vernon for approximately 30~ years, and his loss will be deeply
felt by the City of Vernon.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The city Council of the City of Vernon takes
this opportunity to commend LOREN DOME for his many years of
19

devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
22
LOREN DOME continued success in whatever endeavors he may
23
undertake.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall
25
certify to the passage of this resolution and present a certified

copy thereof to LOREN DOME and that thereupon and thereafter the

same shall be in full force and effect.
