A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY FOR HIS
MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY has been employed by the
7
City of Vernon since June 1, 1964, and
8
WHEREAS, THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY will retire from the service
9
of the City of Vernon on February 26, 1995; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY was hired by the city of
10

Vernon as a Firefighter in the Vernon Fire Department on June 1,
12
1964, advanced to Engineer in February 1983 and promoted to
Captain February 24, 1991; and
13

WHEREAS, THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY has faithfully served the
15
16
City of Vernon for approximately 30~ years, and his loss will be
deeply felt by the City of Vernon.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes
this opportunity to commend THOMAS M. PAVLOV SKY for his many years
20
21
of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
22
23
THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY continued success in whatever endeavors he may
24
undertake.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and present a certified

1 copy thereof to THOMAS M. PAVLOVSKY and that thereupon and
2 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
