RESOLUTION NO. 6595
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE
ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY JUI HSIA CHIANG
AND JENSEN INDUSTRIES
WHEREAS, Jui Hsia Chiang is the owner of a parcel of
Vernon, and Jensen Industries are the owners of a parcel of
land (parcel 2) located at 1946 46th Street in the City of
Vernon, all as described and shown on the attached Exhibit
"A"
consisting of four (4) pages which is incorporated herein by
11 this reference as though fully set forth at length; and

WHEREAS, Jui Hsia Chiang and Jensen Industries desire
to adjust the common boundary between the two parcels whereby
14 said adjustment will create two new properties as described and

shown on the attached Exhibit "B", consisting of five (5) pages
which is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully
set forth at length; and
WHEREAS, Jui Hsia Chiang and Jensen Industries have
applied for a Lot Line Adjustment pursuant to Government Code

Section 66412(d) of the Subdivision Map Act, which provides an
exemption from the Subdivision Map Act requirements as follows:
(d) A lot line adjustment between two or more
existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken
from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel,
and where a greater number of parcels than
originally existed is not thereby created,
provided the lot line adjustment is approved by
the local agency, or advisory agency...."

WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Acting Director of
3 Community Services has recommended that said Lot Line
4 Adjustment be approved.

6 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

8 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained
9 hereinabove are true and correct.

11 dated February 14, 1995, to adjust the common boundary of the
12 two existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF

The City Council of the City of Vernon

The request for a Lot Line Adjustment

"A" whereby said adjustment will create two new properties as
described in the attached Exhibit "B" is hereby approved in
accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson,
Acting Director of Community Services.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon
and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of March, 1995.

This will result in a portion of land between transferred from the

This has been reviewed by the Acting Director of Community Services
and the City Attorney, and it is hereby recommended that the Lot Line

Jui Hsia Chiang and Jensen Industries are the owners of two
adjoining parcels of land located in the City of Vernon.
They have requested an adjustment of the boundary line
between the parcels. The boundary line adjustment will result in
a portion of land being transferred from the Jensen Industries
parcel to the Jui Hsia Chiang parcel.
It is recommended that the requested lot line adjustment be
granted.
