RESOLUTION NO. 6622

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING SCHEDULE II, EXHIBIT "B", PAGES
8 AND 9 OF RESOLUTION NO. 6467, WHICH FIXED THE
COMPENSATION FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY
AND AUTHORIZED CERTAIN EXPENSE ALLOWANCES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6467 was adopted by the City
8
Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1994, to be effective on
9
July 1, 1994; and
10

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
delete the position of Power Scheduler in the Light and Power
12
Department and to establish the position of Power Resource
13
Coordinator in the Light and Power Department with .the appropriate
14
salary scale; and
15
WHEREAS, Schedule II, Exhibit "B", page 9 of Resolution
16
No. 6467 provides for the position and salary scale of Power
17
Scheduler.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does
21 hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
22 are true and correct.

SECTION 2: Effective April 30, 1995, Schedule II,
24 Exhibit "B", pages 8 and 9 of Resolution No. 6467 are hereby
25 amended to delete the position of Power Scheduler in the Light and
26 Power Department and to establish the position and salary scale
27 for Power Resource Coordinator in the Light and Power Department
28 as indicated on the amended pages 8 and 9 of Schedule II, Exhibit

"B", which are attached hereto as Attachment A and made a part

hereof.

SECTION 3: In all other respects, Resolution No. 6467,
4
as amended by Resolution Nos. 6507, 6551 and 6571, shall remain in
5
full force and effect, and the provisions of Resolution Nos. 6467,
6
6507, 6551 and 6571 not consistent with or in conflict with this
7
resolution are hereby repealed.
8
SECTION 4: The city Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
10 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
