RESOLUTION NO. 6632
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON, APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR STATE-LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS
WHEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Sections 2600
Transportation Partnership Program (hereinafter "SLTPP")
effective January 1, 1990, with a deadline of June 30, 1995,
to file applications for cycle 7 of SLTPPi and
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Community Services
& Water has prepared applications for the resurfacing of
11 portions of Soto Street, Vernon Avenue, Bandini Boulevard,

and 26th Street, in the City of Vernoni and
WHEREAS, the California Department of
14 Transportation requires that, to participate in SLTPP, the
15

City Council adopt a resolution approving the applications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
applications for State-Local Transportation Partnership
Program Funds, which are on file in the Department of
Community Services, are in conformance with the City's
capital improvement program.
SECTION 3:
The City Council of the City of Vernon
hereby approves the submission of such applications by the

SECTION 4:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon

shall certify to the passage of this resolution and

thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
