RESOLUTION NO. 6635
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE BID OF VASILJ, INC.
DBA IVANKO FOR 50TH STREET AND 52ND STREET
IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 526 OF
THE CITY OF VERNON AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF
SAID CONTRACT
WHEREAS,
Contract No. 526 of the City of Vernon
pursuant to Resolution No. 6629, and sealed bids were opened
on May 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Samuel Kevin
Wilson, Acting Director of Community Services & Water, who
has reported to the City Council under the date of
May 31, 1995, recommending that Contract No. 526 for 50th
14 Street and 52nd Street Improvement be executed with Vasilj,

Inc. dba IVANKO on the basis of its bid in the sum of Three
Hundred Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-one Dollars and
Eighty Cents ($312,981.80), being the lowest responsible bid
meeting the contract requirements.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
20 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
21 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
22 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
23 hereinabove are true and correct.
24 SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
25 does hereby award Contract No. 526 to Vasilj, Inc. dba
26 IVANKO, in accordance with the recommendation of Samuel
27 Kevin Wilson, Acting Director of Community Services & Water,
28
and authorizes the Mayor to execute said Contract on behalf

SECTION 3:
All other bids are rejected subject to
execution of the contract and the City Treasurer is hereby
directed to return unsuccessful bidders any cashier or
certified checks deposited with said bids upon the receipt
of an executed contract from Vasilj, Inc. dba IVANKO
accompanied by all required
bonds and certificates.
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
SECTION 4:
9 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
10 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
11 effect.
