A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A SUPPLEMENT TO MASTER SERVICES CONTRACT
SCHEDULE A, ACCOUNT NO. 18-2024-437-877-1, BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND THE SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA GAS COMPANY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon adopted
8
Resolution No. 6257 on May 18, 1993, which approved a Pro Forma
Master Services Contract ("MSC"), Account No. V08/18-2157-437-

8771, with Southern California Gas Company ("SoCalGas") dated
April 1,1993, setting forth the general terms and conditions
un er which SoCalGas would provide gas services to the City of

Ve non pursuant to the applicable Tariff Rate Schedules and Tariff

Ru es which have been filed with the Public utilities Commission

of'the State of California ("CPUC"); and
WHEREAS, Schedule A, Account No. 18-9157-437-877-1, a

service schedule incorporated as part of the MSC providing
intrastate transportation services, was executed on May 13, 1993,

by Kenneth J. DeDario, Director of Light and Power, pursuant to
20
Resolution No. 5958, in order to meet the CPUC deadline; and

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to renew MSC Schedule
22
A, Intrastate Transmission Service, Account No. 18-9157-437-877-1,

dated as of August 1, 1993, for the period August 2, 1995 to
24
August 1, 1997, under the same terms and conditions presently in
25
26
effect.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon does

hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
2
are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The city Council of the City of Vernon hereby
4
approves the Supplement to Master Services Contract Schedule A,
5
Account No. 18-2024-437-877-1, a copy of which has been presented
6
to the City Council concurrently with this resolution, and the
7
City Council hereby orders said Supplement to be received and
8
filed by the City Clerk.

SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said Supplement

for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
