A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6465, WHICH
APPROVED A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1994-1995,
TO REFLECT INCREASES

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6465 was adopted by the City
7
Council of the City of Vernon on June 30, 1994; and
8
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6465 approved a budget for the
fiscal year 1994-1995; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon wishes to
amend the budget for fiscal year 1994-1995 to reflect certain
12
increased requirements for the fiscal year for the Treasurer

Department budget of the city of Vernon.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon hereby

approves increasing the Contract Services budget for the Treasurer
l8
Department, Supplies and Other Services, from $35,150.00 to
$45,150.00 as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a

part hereof as though fully set forth at length to reflect certain
increased requirements for various contract services expenditures
22
for the fiscal year 1994-1995 for said budget of the City of
23
Vernon.

SECTION 2: The city Council of the City of Vernon hereby
25
finds and determines that the certain item set forth in Exhibit
26
"A" is a necessary increase in expenditure for contract Services
27
in the Treasurer Department, Supplies and Other services, and that
28
the City Council of the City of Vernon further finds and
1 determines that the same is in the best interests of the City of
2 Vernon and constitutes a reasonable expenditure of public funds.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
4 hereby directed to file this resolution with the County Auditor of
5 Los Angeles County within sixty (60) days after its passage, to
6 fulfill the purposes of SS 53900 and 53901 of the Government Code
7 of the State of California with respect to this amendment.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
9 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
lO thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
