RESOLUTION NO. 6680
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF ENCROACHMENT LICENSE
AGREEMENT NO. 381 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY
OF VERNON AND L.A. DYE AND PRINT WORKS, INC.
WHEREAS, L. A. Dye and Print Works, Inc. has filed an
Vernon City Code Section 22.66 for the maintenance and
operation of approximately 50 feet of 4-inch schedule 80 pvc
conduit, which will contain communication lines across and
~nder 52nd Street located approximately 982.7 feet west of the
centerline of Santa Fe Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is authorized to issue an
~ncroachment license pursuant to Chapter 22, Article VI,
~ncroachments, of the Code of the City of Vernon which license
shall be valid for a period of twenty-five (25) years unless
ptherwise stated; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 5088
pn February 21, 1984, authorizing fees for encroachment
licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Community Services
has recommended approval of Encroachment License Agreement No.
381.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
24 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
25 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
26 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
27 hereinabove are true and correct.

SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon
approves the Encroachment License Agreement No. 381, a
3 copy of which has been presented to the City Council concurrently

ith this resolution, and the City Council hereby orders said
to be received and filed by the City Clerk.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon
authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said
for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.
SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
