Resolution No. 6701 - 1 2 3 4 5 6 parcel of land (parcell) located at 2035 49th Street in the 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 RESOLUTION NO. 6701 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF VERNON APPROVING A LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT REQUESTED BY PAN METAL CORPORATION THE WHEREAS, Pan Metal Corporation is the owner of a City of Vernon, and the owner of a parcel of land (parcel 2) located at 2111 49th Street in the City of Vernon, all as described and shown on the attached Exhibit "A" consisting of two (2) pages which is incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth at length; and WHEREAS, Pan Metal Corporation desires to adjust the common boundary between the two parcels whereby said adjustment 14 will create two new properties as described and shown on the 15 attached Exhibit "B", consisting of two (2) pages which is 16 incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth 17 at length; and 18 WHEREAS, Pan Metal Corporation has applied for a Lot 19 Line Adjustment pursuant to Government Code Section 66412 (d) of 20 the Subdivision Map Act, which provides an exemption from the 21 Subdivision Map Act requirements as follows: 22 (d) A lot line adjustment between two or more 23 existing adjacent parcels, where the land taken 24 from one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, 25 and where a greater number of parcels than 26 originally existed is not thereby created, 27 provided the lot line adjustment is approved by 28 1 the local agency, or advisory agency...." 2 and 3 WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Acting Director of 4 Community Services has recommended that said Lot Line 5 Adjustment be approved. 6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF 7 THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: 8 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon 9 does hereby find and determine that the recitals contained 10 hereinabove are true and correct. 11 SECTION 2: The request for a Lot Line Adjustment 12 dated September 25, 1995, to adjust the common boundary of the 13 two existing properties being described in the attached Exhibit 14 "A" whereby said adjustment will create two new properties as 15 described in the attached Exhibit liB" is hereby approved in 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 accordance with the recommendation of Samuel Kevin Wilson, cting Director of Community Services. SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
