RESOLUTION NO. 6702
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF ARROW STRAIGHT
MARKING AND STRIPING SERVICE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH
CONTRACT NO. 522 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
WHEREAS, Arrow Straight Marking and Striping
Pavement Striping Service, 1994 pursuant to Resolution No.
6417 of the City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Acting Director of
Community Services has reported to the City Council of the
City of Vernon on October 24, 1995, that said work has been
completed and recommends that the work be accepted and
14 payment be made to the Contractor in accordance with the
15 agreement.
16 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
17 OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
18 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
19 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
20 hereinabove are true and correct.
21 SECTION 2: The work of Arrow Straight Marking and
22 Striping Service, pursuant to Contract No. 522 is hereby
23 approved by the City of Vernon.
24 SECTION 3: The total contract amount is Forty-
25 eight Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-six Dollars and Twenty-
26 eight Cents ($48,696.28), all of which has been paid.
27 SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon
28 hereby instructs the City Clerk to file a notice of

1 completion with the County Recorder.
2 SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
3 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
4 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be full force and
5 effect.
6 APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of November,
7 1995.
