A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF VERNON ACCEPTING THE WORK OF C.T. & F., INC.,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 525 OF THE CITY
OF VERNON
WHEREAS, C.T. & F. Inc. was awarded Contract No.
ehicle Preemption pursuant to Resolution No. 6596 of the
City of Vernon; and
WHEREAS, Samuel Kevin Wilson, Director of
Community Services has reported to the City Council of the
City of Vernon on January 30, 1996, that said work has been
completed and recommends that the work be accepted and
aYment be made to the Contractor in accordance with the
14 agreement.
15 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
16 F THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:
17 SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon
18 hereby finds and determines that the recitals contained
19 hereinabove are true and correct.
20 SECTION 2: The work of C.T. & F. Inc.,
21 ursuant to Contract No. 525 is hereby approved by the City
22 of Vernon.
23 SECTION 3: The total contract amount is Seventy-
24 two Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-eight Dollars ($72,368.00).
25 Partial paYments totaling Sixty-five Thousand One Hundred
26 Thirty-one Dollars Twenty Cents ($65,131.20), have been made
27 and the remaining ten percent (10%) of the total contract
28 amount, or the sum of Seven Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-six
1 Dollars Eighty Cents ($7,236.80) is payable thirty-five days
2 after the adoption of this resolution.
3 SECTION 4: The City Council of the City of Vernon
4 hereby directs payment of said sums as set forth to
5 C.T. & F. Inc., and instructs the City Clerk to file a
6 notice of completion with the County Recorder.
7 SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon
8 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and
9 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be full force and
10 effect.
