A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON COMMENDING ROBERT BEAUDETTE FOR HIS MANY
YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON

WHEREAS, ROBERT BEAUDETTE has been employed by the City
7
of Vernon since June 1, 1957; and
8
WHEREAS, ROBERT BEAUDETTE will retire from the service of
9
the City of Vernon on February 17, 1996; and
WHEREAS, ROBERT BEAUDETTE was hired by the City of Vernon
10
11
as a Fireman in the Vernon Fire Department on June 1, 1957, and
12
promoted to Engineer on February 7, 1982; and
13
WHEREAS, ROBERT BEAUDETTE has faithfully served the city
14
of Vernon for approximately 38~ years, and his loss will be deeply
15
16
felt by the City of Vernon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Vernon takes
this opportunity to commend ROBERT BEAUDETTE for his many years of
19

21
devoted service to the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Vernon wishes
22
ROBERT BEAUDETTE continued success in whatever endeavors he may
23
24
25
26
undertake.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and present a certified
copy thereof to ROBERT BEAUDETTE and that thereupon and thereafter
27
the same shall be in full force and effect.
