RESOLUTION NO. 6765

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VERNON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A CONSULTING AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE
CITY OF VERNON AND JAMES F. WISLEY

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon desires to retain the
7
services of a consultant for the purposes of providing advice in
relation to miscellaneous projects; and

WHEREAS, James F. Wisley has performed work for the
10 Redevelopment Agency in the past and is experienced and qualified
II
to provide such services to the City; and

WHEREAS, the City of Vernon and James F. Wisley desire to
enter into a consulting agreement setting forth the terms and
conditions under which James F. Wisley would assist the city of
15
Vernon in said miscellaneous projects.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: The City Council of the city of Vernon does
hereby find and determine that the recitals contained hereinabove
19

are true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Council of the city of Vernon hereby
22
23
approves the Agreement, a copy of which has been presented to the
City Council concurrently with this resolution, and the City
Council hereby orders said Agreement to be received and filed by
24
25
26
the City Clerk.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
27
authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute said Agreement
28
for, and on behalf of, the City of Vernon.

SECTION 4: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
2 certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1996.

Mayor of the City of Vernon.
