Resolution No. 6767 ...... ., 1 RESOLUTION NO. 6767 2 3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON COMMENDING FRANK HLIFKA FOR HIS MANY YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON 4 5 6 WHEREAS, FRANK HLIFKA has been employed by the City of 7 Vernon since March 16, 1963; and 8 WHEREAS, FRANK HLIFKA will retire from the service of the City of Vernon on April 3, 1996; and 9 10 11 WHEREAS, FRANK HLIFKA was hired by the City of Vernon as a Hoseman in the Vernon Fire Department on March 16, 1963, l2 l3 advanced to Engineer on March 31, 1985, and promoted to Captain on March 1, 1988; and 14 WHEREAS, FRANK HLIFKA has faithfully served the City of 15 Vernon for approximately 33 years, and his loss will be deeply 16 17 felt by the City of Vernon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON AS FOLLOWS: l8 19 SECTION 1: The city Council of the City of Vernon takes this opportunity to commend FRANK HLIFKA for his many years of 20 21 22 devoted service to the City of Vernon. SECTION 2: The City Council of the city of Vernon wishes 23 FRANK HLIFKA continued success in whatever endeavors he may 24 25 26 undertake.
